Place the palms of your hands together at your body’s centre. This mudra is most often taken at the heart centre but variations such as the third eye and the reverse mudra are also common.
This is a posture of composure, of returning to one’s heart. It is often used when greeting someone or saying goodbye, initiating or completing an action. It is most often taken in Sukhasana (a comfortable seated position) and accompanied by the words “namaste.”
