A television show, an online guide, a coffee table book and a mobile reference site, HOSTESS required a strong, identifiable brand to tread a very tight rope: It needed to be sexy enough to be appealing and catchy, but without ever lending itself to confusion or shadiness.
HOSTESS – “the other restaurant guide” – is showcased through the eyes of hostesses, waitresses and bartenders working in the various restaurants. Because dining out is no longer just about the food but encompassing of so much more – the environment, the experience, location, etc. It was important to develop an umbrella big enough that restaurants, waitresses and patrons would all feel that they could belong.
Ongoing work for the website and mobile assets has proven once and again the strength of the various brand elements.
